Pastor Byron A. Dixon

Rev. Byron A. Dixon, a native of Fair Bluff, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Ray Charles and the late Angela Dixon. Rev. Dixon began preaching at a young age, having preached his initial sermon on September 16, 2005, and ordained September 18, 2007.

He received a B.A. in Music with a concentration in Piano/Choral in 2012 from Benedict College, Columbia, SC.

He is very active in the National Baptist Convention USA, Progressive National Baptist Convention, South Carolina Baptist Congress of Christian Education, South Carolina Baptist Education and Missionary Convention, Local Church Association as well as several organizations around the coasts of South and North Carolina.

Rev. Dixon is the proud husband to Mrs. Alicia Dixon.

Pastor Dixon is a high school educator and currently working towards his Masters of Education and Masters of Sacred Theology. He was installed as the 8th Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church of Columbia, Inc. in October 2024.

Rev. Dixon is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Pastor Dixon's motto is, "If I can help somebody as I travel along life's way, then my living will not be in vain."
